Before removing the shock absorber, make sure the vehicle is turned off and the battery is disconnected. Remove the shock absorber mounting screws and dust covers using the appropriate tools.
Change the shock absorber oil: Drain the old oil from the inside of the shock absorber, using a tool such as a syringe or pipette. Inject new shock absorber oil, taking care to select the appropriate shock absorber oil for your shock model. After injection, gently shake the shock absorber to ensure even distribution of the oil.
Reinstallation: Make sure all screws are tightened in place and the dust cover is installed correctly.
