Hello everyone! I recently bought my first real RC car, the one in the title. Over the weekend, I brought my HBX 901A with me to play with my friends outdoors, and noticed that all of my friends’ RC cars were carrying metal upgrades.
I knew that the “A” version of this car was a brushless version that had been upgraded with some of the parts, such as brushless motors, strong torque servos, and so on.
I am particularly interested in the upgrades for the other parts as the original parts are almost all plastic and seem a bit too soft to withstand brutal use in rough terrain and one has to be very careful about how they are used. I know that HBX sells aluminum upgrades, but I’m still thinking about whether or not replacing the upgrades would be difficult to maintain.
So, do you guys have any thoughts on replacing the upgrade parts on the HBX 901A RC or any other upgrades that you think would make sense for this car?
Cheers!
